Speed Syndicate Racing was founded in in 1998. Were a bunch of truly multicultural, multiethnic friends that kick it together and love to modify our cars. We are also photographers and writers as you can tell from our extensive galleries and event articles on our site. We pride ourselves in our extensive coverage of not just automotive events, but cultural and just plain fun events as well. You never really know what you might find in our "Fun galleries".
Our cars range from show and race winners to new beginners. Anyone is given a chance just as long as there is potential in their car, the drive to modify it. Most of all, the person has to be able to get along with everyone and not be a trouble maker. STREET RACING IS NOT ALLOWED AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED WITHIN OUR CLUB!! We are very active at track events such as Redline Time Attack, so you will get plenty of track time with us. There is no need for childish street racing!!
We are not exclusive to imports or domestics. As a matter of fact, we pride ourselves in being different and unusual. We enjoy being the club that stands out from the rest of the clubs out there. So if you have an odd ball car that you have turned into something special, we welcome you. Just as long as you are determined and have the will to help make this club better and stronger. Of course the mainstream modified vehicles are always welcome as well.
If you are not club oriented and just interested in yourself, this is not the club for you. We are a team. We are a family. We all support each other. The show and race winners don't look down upon the new beginners. We offer help and advice so that they may achieve the goals they are reaching for as this makes us all stronger as a club. Therefore, if all you care about is you and your own car, please search for another club to join.
In order to become a member you must attend at least 5 consecutive meetings and attend all events that we participate in. You will then have to be voted in as just showing up to meetings does not guarantee membership. Of course there are valid excuses for missing meetings and events, but it is your responsibility to inform us of in advance if you are unable to participate.
Potential members are required to be active on our forum as well as our yahoo group and must register ASAP if they want to be concidered for membership. This shows us how interested and serious the prospective member is in joining us. New members must also post pics of themselves as well as their cars in the members pics section of this forum. This also allows us to get to know you better.
New prospects are only allowed to run our banner after they have successfully completed their attendance of 5 consecutive meetings and proven themselves worthy of and dedicated to the club. Probation can go as long as 6 months but will be based on an individuals' devotion and dedication to the club. The more active and dedicated a person is, the faster they will be voted in.
